After an extra productive day or a busy week of running around, you simply want to sit down, have a taco, and enjoy some Netflix. The popular streaming service is bringing tacos and informative television together with a new documentary series where you can learn all about the rich history of the taco.
Dubbed Taco Chronicles, each episode is centered around a certain topic that has to do with tacos and Mexico. From the various ingredients to the way they are prepared and the many renowned chefs, the series is informative and sheds light on how far tacos have come. The first episode, for example, focuses on the al pastor taco and its history to its rise in the middle of the 20th century. Another episode focuses on the Mayans and their cooking tradition.
Throughout all six episodes of Taco Chronicles (which are currently available for streaming), you may find yourself resisting the urge to make your own taco as the various chefs prepare some truly delectable looking varieties.
Should you need tortillas to try making some of these tacos you’ll see on Taco Chronicles, you’ll soon be able to purchase our tortillas at a Walmart in the southeast.
