You’re probably well into your Thanksgiving preparations and already have your full feast planned out. Have you given any thought as to what you might want to do with any leftover food? Here’s a crunchwrap suggestion originally found on the website Delish that you may find appetizing.
- Four flour tortillas
- Half a cup of warmed gravy for serving
- A cup of mashed potatoes
- Cup of shredded white cheddar
- Cup of green beans
- Cup of stuffing
- Cup and a half of shredded turkey
- Cup of cranberry sauce
Use a ¼ cup spreading of the mash potatoes in each center of the four tortillas, then use a layer of white cheddar, green beans, stuffing, turkey, and cranberry sauce to top it. Fold the tortillas around their center to make them pleated. Once you’ve wrapped them, quickly flip them over so that the pleated side is face down and everything stays together.
Grab a medium-sized nonstick pan, turn the heat up to medium, and then heat a thin layer of vegetable oil in the pan. While keeping the seam/pleated side down, cook each crunchwrap one by one until it becomes golden brown on the bottom, it should take about four minutes or so. Once the seam side is cooked, flip over the crunchwrap and cook for another four minutes. Repeat the process for the remaining tortillas.
When ready, cut each crunchwrap in half and you’re ready to serve with the gravy.
